Meet Your Guide

Picture

Marie Bourdon (she/her), founder and guide at Move to Nature, is a Registered Yoga Teacher, a Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide, and a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces who served for over a decade, at home and abroad. Following a medical release from the CAF, through gentle movement and nature connection practices, Marie found a safe space to heal and to adapt to a new way of living and being. She also noticed that spending contemplative time in the forest helped identify the elements needed to optimize her health and wellbeing: movement, community, and nature connection – the foundations to Move to Nature.

As a guide, Marie encourages participants to listen to their body, to experiment with and honour their edges, and to engage with invitations in whichever way resonates with them. Her facilitating style is playful, inquisitive, accessible and trauma informed. Marie is passionate about creating supportive experiences for the veteran community and she loves to create offerings for private and corporate workshops and retreats.

Marie cannot wait to meet you and to guide you through practices that allow us to rewild - to let the wilderness take care of us so we can remember our true nature.
